Latest telephone scam!
I was just sitting here browsing the internet when my ex directory, unlisted anywhere, registered with the TPS number rang.

A pre-recorded english voice waffled on about claiming compensation for accidents and to "press 5 to speak now to an operator - this call is free"

Yeah right!

I did nothing, and the call eventually self terminated.

I did a 1471 lookup and the number is 001 (America) 6169802239
This translates out to a line in Grand Rapids MI

I bet that a press of the 5 button would have resulted in a nice pricey call charge and them trying to hold me on the line for as long as possible.

I am sure a percentage of people would just press the number to try to give these pains in the arse a piece of thier minds!
