| I too woke up with the garden covered in snow and had tenuous plan to go to Capers but decided not to and decided to go the Lake District instead and it was glorious sunshine. We did have a detour into Capers to check out 3mm hoods and it was jam packed never seen it that busy before oh I bet the viz was utter pants! Anyways back to the Lakes, before we went to Windermere we went to this place where you park up and then walk upwards to Little Dam and Big Dam and it started to gently snow as we sat on the bench looking down at the dam. I so wish I could have captured the view in paints or pastels as it was breathtaking. As we walked back down the snow fell heavier but I still wasnt cold despite not having a fleece or a jacket on. |

| We arrived in Brighton marina this morning for our club dive on Channel Diver where it was lovely sun and calm seas, by the time we cast off it was lightly snowing and by the time we reached our dive site an hour later it was choppy with strong winds blowing snow everywhere! Not a fun trip - of the 10 people booked on, 2 cancelled by phone, 2 showed up to pay their share and then left straight away and the rest of us braved the snow! Big respect to the people who actually dived! Not me though, I was too busy throwing up over the side! |

| I was supposed to go to Capers today, but failed Both ends of our village have hills, council didn't grit the roads so they were like Ice rinks!! got half way up the Northern hill only to start going backwards without engaging reverse artic lorry broken down on the way out of the village so I gave it up as a bad job and seeing as its been snowing all flamin day, it might not have been a bad decision - but bleedin inconvenient!
