| Snow! Now I know that there will be a few Scottish chaps and chapettes who will be whinging on about how we southern ponces don't know what real weather is. But here's the view from my window: Janos

| When I went out for a 20k run at 5.30 this morning the sky was clear. By the time I got to about 5k it had started to sleet and by about 10k the snow was settling on the ground. As this was the furthest point from home I wasn't happy and thinking that maybe I should have worn a jacket. At this time the snow was settling and the pavement was getting very slippery So I thought I'd try and get a bus home. Then realised I had no money on me. (I pay £44 a week for my travel card) The feckin bus driver wouldn't let me on the bus. I know you are supposed to pay but he could have given me a break. I was soaking wet, freezing cold and covered in snow. Do they not have any common sense? Finally home. Cut my run down to 16k. I’m not happy! Hope it don't do the same thing next weekend Sponsored Marathon - For MND |

| My giddy aunt I'm glad I don't live in the frozen north. I need to do a bit of work on the car but you've made me feel so cold I'll have to put a wolly on now. I think it rained overnight here but it's quite nice now if a little overcast. (edit) So I go upstairs, look out the window, get the tools together, put on my woolly, look out the window again. It's snowing! That will teach me to be smug (/edit) Last edited by nigelH : 06-04-08 at 09:54 AM. |

| Really great snow!! Just taken all our rugs outside to give them a good clean in the snow (although I may be tonsorially challenged I am not talking those those types of rugs; I mean the ones that go on the floor )Works wonders and gets rid of a lot of dirt that hoovering cant do. Although this photo is now a couple of year's old, it gives you an diea of how our back garden looks - festooned with Persia' finest -neighbours think we are mad; but it works ![]() Snash
