Hey guys, as testament to the fact that im computer illiterate, i cant get the windows media player to play smoothly and at real time.  It is slow and jerky, and says "buffering" at the bottom....can i get it to work properly, or is my old steam powered puter beyond this?

Hi,
Are you running the aplication through the internet or are you playing a downloaded video/music clip?

If you are playing it off the internet it will be slow depending on your internet connetion speed, I am using broadband and i some times get this problem. If you are running the downloaded clip you may need to update the drivers for it to play properly.
