I was wrong, £26 and yes it's off-peak, but that gives you weekends as well, which most of the others don't. Peak is £36 which is still a lot cheaper than most of the rest...

I don't know if they've caught on yet, but if you join the HQ in Wigan then it's a few quid cheaper over the standard rate but you still get to use any gym.

i have a local gym (Harpers) and pay £32.50 a month. i can use it anytime, which is good...and it has a pool there as well.

However, we don't have Monty

Just an aside but Prudential have an offer where you can get free membership for (I think) Virgin/LA fitness if you sign up for their healthcare deal(bit like BUPA)....works out at about £40 a month for both....bit of a bargain.. got to be worth a look.
Anyway , just off for a kebab......fatty
