There's a moose loose aboot the hoose!!!!

I am getting quite used to my cats bringing in poorly mice and other small creatures. This morning, I was calmly making coffee when i discovered that one (probably aided abetted by the other one) has brought a perfectly healthy mouse in. Worse... they have let it go.

The little bu88er moves to quick for me to catch it. I don't really need a third pet in the house, and mice tend to eat cables and other tastey things (like my chocolate store so i would kind of like to get rid of it.

Shall I just wait for the cats to catch it or has someone got a bright idea as to how I can remove it (without killing it) from my house.

Why not start talking loudly about the respective benefits of the PADI/GUE/BSAC systems, oh and ladies BCs. This will surely send it into a deep sleep and you can put it outside?

I'm sure there are some mouse catching experts on here who will be along soon.

Seriously though.... my moggy used to bring in mice and then the mouse would hide behind something while the cat sat for hours waiting for it to come out. I used to put the cat in another room, once I located the mouse... then pull out the furniture, find the mouse petrified and chuck a plastic jug over it and a card underneath and put it out. It's a lengthy process.

After a year in Weymouth I've not had a single dead or living bird or mouse brought in. How strange. So the only solution long term, as far as my expert mouse catching opinion goes,* is to move to Weymouth.

* please take this with a large shovel full of salt and good humour rather than having an arguement with me.
