One of my best friends, who has just returned from a tour with the army in the Balkans was out last night at a party when a fight broke out, he being the kinda guy he is jumpped in to break it up and ends up getting stabbed and is now his face, neck & hand is pretty cut up.

I was night duty last night in a busy North London area.

we dealt with over 180 calls in 9 hours, that equates to 20 calls an hour.

I had 9 double crewed cars to put out. We had over ten arrests which tie each car up for a minimum of two hours each on poxy paperwork.

Work out the maths.

We would love to get there quicker.
However we waist our time dealing with twats who cannot handle their beer.
( I am NOT refering to your mate by the way)

Most people don't realise how much police time is taken up dealing with drunken twats. If it's not arseholes in the town it's chavs on the estates making people's lives a misery, strutting around with a can of Stella. And then there's the drunken domestics...
