Consultant surveyour, doing expert witness work usualy suing dodgy builders for doing crap work or disputing insurance &nbsp; and guarentee claims. This can be realy interesting. Unfortunatly it usualy takes months, some times years to get paid and there is not enough work about.

So I also dabble in property and run a building restoration company, mainly timber and damp repairs, which is very booring but pays the bills. Ocasionaly I do structural timber repairs where we reconstruct load bearing timber beems using epoxy resins. That can be fun especialy on black and white buildings where we have to distress the epoxy resin to look like wood.

Seriously hoping to make enough to retire at 50 and do somthing silly like open a diving centre somewhere warm but my two daughters will probably bancrupt me by then so I more than likley have to work till I croak.
