Walking in Snowdonia

Looking to go walking in Snowdonia with a friend at the end of June. We want a nice pub that does B&B, within 1/2 hour or so of Snowdon, but with something like a curry house within walking distance. Does anyone have a personal recommendation of something suitable?

Try in Llanberis, I think there is a curry house there. Failing that there are cheap B&B's in Caernarfon, Sopna on Llanberis Road is really good but it's probably not walking distance.

The Cwllyn Arms in Rhydd Ddu has a bunkhouse and does good food and beer as well as a curry menu (though it's still a pub). It's right next to Snowdon though.

There's a really good place in Llanberis called 'The Heights' which is a climbers b&b which does cheap bunk house b&b accomodation which also has it's own pub. I've stopped there more than once and walked from the hotel to the top of snowdon and back. There's a great curry house in the town on the high street plus my favourite cafe in the world 'pete's eats'.

Don't forget you can do a climb and dive weekend, walking snowdon on the Saturday and then dive vyvian on the Sunday!
