| Imported post I tend to alternate between getting the odd copy of both Diver and Diver. Theres a pretty good article on diving N.Wales in one this month forget which!! Find Diver's content a little repetative though as the same Topic and articles get recycled. On the plus side both rags at least do articles about British and cold water diving. Few and far between in the Padi Journals.

I can't believe some of the articles they run, they have been the source of much amusement on club trips. e.g. the article on waterproof mascara. Who would want to wear mascara diving? I mean, you're coccooned in a drysuit, wet hair stuck to the side of your head, falling unceremoniously into the water - under these conditions, a bit of mascara is not going to transform you into a supermodel!! |

| Imported post I find I actually read (with some interest) the articles in Diver, but after scanning through Dive, wonder why I wasted my money (again) this month. I got a year's subscription to diver at the Brum show (and a free backpack - yahoo!), and have vowed to never subscribe to Dive again - not even for 100 seven tenths t-shirts! I have subscribed to the Beyond The Blue mag and am waiting on my introductory copy to arrive. Regards, and dive safe Martin |

However I do like LouiseT articles in Diver, very funny lady. As for the mascara thing, I was diving at Capernwray once, yes it was a long time ago Fiona |

| Imported post I have to agree, Dive Girl is pretty awful. It could be excellent, even in it's current irregular, free format, but it just seems to be very "fluffy". I like Diver, it actually takes me some time to read it as I am interested in most of what it prints. I am keen to check out the new "Beyonf the Blue" mag though. Lou
