Martin, how can one subscribe to Beyond the Blue?
Cheers, Dave.
PS - Diver (though not perfect) get's my vote over Dive + Sport Diver too, even though my sub seems to have dried up without warning

Dave (and anyone else who's interested)

There are two main ways to get the magazine; either from any dive staore which stock Beaver products (that includes shops outside UK) or by subscription. &nbsp; The details for subscribers are as follows:

Beyond the Blue will be published quarterly, 1st issue is out now and 2nd issue is due in March. &nbsp; The present issue will be sent to you free of charge and your subscription will start with the March issue.

4 issues including Post &amp; Packing

UK &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;£12.00
Europe &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; £30.00
Worldwide &nbsp; £40.00

Just send a cheque made payable to British Caledonian Publishing for the appropriate amount to the following address:

British Caledonian Publishing
24 Deansgate
Blackpool
Lancashire
FY1 1BN

Alternately if you want to pay by card call:

01253 297111

I called and they offered to send me several copies (to pass around the club) of the initial copy (note that this is not the proper mag, just a representation of what to expect in March).

Anyway, HTH
Regards, and dive safe
Martin

<font color='#810541'>I went to the beyond the blue website, then emailed the address it gave to ask for more information.

I received a reply email which I felt was unwarranted, suggesting that there was some legal implications that I should be aware of and that YD was not the place to discuss the new magazine.

Stick it, then, if that's the attitude.

Andy

<font color='#0000FF'>I agree that Dive magazine is the worse of the two (against Diver), but it niggles me that junior members, who would benefit from reading it, don't get it free with their membership. &nbsp; Some sort of logic in there?

I never thought such passion would be generated by this subject. I do agree with much of what has been said but dropped my subscription to Diver as I get Dive free and found them not too different depending which side of the fence you'r on. As for 990, it has never been a large concern or a financial success, regardless of how good people say it is - they simply did not sell enough. Rons a good guy and I wish him luck with his new venture, but will it be able to go up against the &quot;main stream&quot; dive mags that are more interested in pretty pictures and advertising than on what it's like to dive at 60m in the dark for 2 hours?? What the public want is what the public get, I am not saying it's right, but it is business. We will see. &nbsp;
