A call out to Buoyant Babe
Last night I watched Come Dine With Me, the 4 contestants where from Newcastle and 4 nastier, back stabbing bitches ( both the men and the women) you could hope not to meet. They would scare anyone off going to the NE for life.
BB please tell that not all North Eastenders are like this, and that your a friendly bunch really.


ps I know TV produers pick the worst type of people to make better telly and they don't realy represent the NE, this post is just for comic effect

I agree. Two of them in particular were horrendous and the woman with the over-dyed hair I wanted to nip very hard. I would hope that they are not representative of the canny souls here in the North East.

If they had come to mine for tea I'd have made them stottie cake, panackelty and singin' hinnies

Sadly, I missed this and it seems as though it would have been a good laugh. Have seen a few of these before and the best one I thought was a "rotund" lady got very drunk and ended up staying the night at one of the contestants houses.

They must have had a "recipe for love!"
