| My experience with interor trim is its a pain in the arse to remove or replace without breaking it. Try asking a freindley non dealership garage to have a look. My local place replaced my faulty solonoids to repair my rear doors which would not open for £22 each plus an hours labour. You would not have known they had been in there afterwards. Dave C |

| Telling us what sort of car you have might help us be more specific but...... If one lock is out of sync a lot of central locking systems will not work. So lock them all manually and then use the key. See what happens. You wrote 'door handle' not 'door lock' so there is usually a spring that pulls the handle back in. It could be at either end or even on the lock mechanism. You will have to remove the dor panel to find out. How to do this depends on the car make and model. HTH
