I could.

I just couldnt stop.

waking up after swinging on a rope swing in our local woods with my mates looking down at me and telling me I have a hole in through my lip.

Putting a plug into the socket without the back on (just to see if I had wired it up correctly) - that was fun.

It's a wonder I'm still here really.

Hmmmmm that sounds familiar, I stuck my fingers in a BC lampholder to see what it felt like, and woke up a few minutes later on the other side of my bedroom.

then I tried 'arc welding' with the Live and Earth from a 3 core flex on a 13A plugtop. that was a big flash and another timetravel moment

any wonders I became an electrician and have no fear of working live ( not that I should and its not sensible either)

I've barrel rolled a few rally cars through trees and ridden sports bikes most of my adult life with a few injuries along the way but my most stupid injury happened as a 15 year old on a geography field trip with my school (read under-age piss up)

I was on a promise to lose my virginity with a rather well endowed young lady from Hertfordshire. I was more than a little nervous and a quick wee and equipment check was in order , so I popped to the loo. In my haste I manage to catch a good chunk of 'little Graham' in my jean's zip. - and the only way it was going to be freed was by rapid reversal of said zip. **gulp*

I was in pretty bad shape but due to dim room lighting the young lady in question was none the wiser, indeed my moans of agony probably suggested someone far more sexually adept than I was !

They say you always remember your first - I'll never bloody forget it !!

Anyone else suffered a stupid injury at their own hands?

Yep I pulled my middle finger off from the middle knuckle when bunking off out over the school gate and my signet ring got caught in the spike.

Managed to slip on some rocks in a couple foot of water at Capers just before the second dive on one of Mark Powell's days (carried on the dive though, and got some comment about 'being graceful'). Winded up bruising my coxyx/tailbone and couldn't sit down on anything hard for 3 months. Yep, a cushion went everywhere with me during that time, so dunno what was worse? The injury or the p!sstake from work!

Club halloween party a couple of years back. Imagine the scene, me dressed as an escaped lunatic (surgical gown with arse hanging out, loads of blood spatter, machete etc play fighting with a 6 ft giant Panda!!
Well neither me or the panda had great balace at that stage during the night and fell over. When we get up I feel something rubbing against my little finger.
Looked at my hand to se it was my ring finger bent the wrong way sideways.
Even in my pissed state I remembered to take off my wedding ring. Good job too as the finger was like a bastard balloon within 10 minutes.

Never felt a thing until the next day surprisingly enough!!

I just climbed into a RIB that had a Velcro band running round the side. It was there to retain a tube cover that had not yet arrived. I pulled myself up on the beckets (grab ropes) and took the skin off all my knuckles - not a bad injury unless you are somewhere tropical and diving three or four times a day.

Broke my ankle when i was about 11 playing a massed game of chase and slipping on wet grass.
Broke my right wrist playfighting with a bloke.
Broke my left wrist falling off a gate at 4am
Knocked myself out tripping over god knows what.

Numerous falls off horses, bikes, out of trees, off haystacks and sledging (the best hill where i grew up has a big wall at the bottom )
