Ahhh you mean like when I was the stay at home parent and managed to sort things out with time to spare in the day.


tidier house, lower shopping bill - yes we did a comparison over the course of the previous 6 months on food bills and I got better deals. clothes put away after ironing instead of the floor/sofa/any fecking flat surfacedrobe.

and it isn't going to take till August to sort its going to take longer than it would have originally taken if I had done it. which I should but didn't because I trusted that it would be done. which is now going to impact on my plans for the rest of the week which have been altered once to accomodate changes brought about by her.

but of course I have no idea how much has to be done in running a house.

I do agree that being a wife/housekeeper/child minder isn't half as hard as 40 hours a week in any decent job. I do it part time on top of my regular, and would happily swap.

Anyhow, it's probably your fault. And if it's not your fault, somehow it will be.

Good job you live so far away! There's a lot of women on here who would tear your guts out for that!!!!

Personally I HATE shopping. And that's what Next on line was invented for. I don't go near shops unless I really have to. All done at the click of a button. Food is done once a month and then Mini-Dazs goes to the Mini-Tesco up the road for the fresh stuff once a week (well, she should earn her keep!!!).

And DSD, if she's really THAT bad, why you still with her, eh??? Stop picking up on the crap and enjoy what you do love about her. And if you're so damned good at the housey stuff and organising, then do it yourself, I'm afraid. She's always been like it, so why are you expecting her to be different now! I'm with Scubee, if you'd done it in the first place there wouldn't have been an issue. Even if she said she'd do it, say nah, it's ok, I'll do it and then at least you'll know it's been done!!!
