tidier house, lower shopping bill - yes we did a comparison over the course of the previous 6 months on food bills and I got better deals. clothes put away after ironing instead of the floor/sofa/any fecking flat surfacedrobe.

and it isn't going to take till August to sort its going to take longer than it would have originally taken if I had done it. which I should but didn't because I trusted that it would be done. which is now going to impact on my plans for the rest of the week which have been altered once to accomodate changes brought about by her.

but of course I have no idea how much has to be done in running a house.
whilst you were at home as stay at home parent - did you have to plan and organise the menu, budget and then get ready to go out for an evening job to make up the budget because you only had one wage packet to go around 1, 2, 3, 4 or more mouths:-) just wondered. Each to his/her own - enjoy whatever you do within a relationship but remember why you got together in the first place... my rant over :-)

no didn't have to do an evening job as her salary was much more than I could bring in and we needed to lok after the youngster who was less than 12 months old.

so yes I did the budget, paid the bills, washed the pots, ironed ( with sharper creases cos I was taught how to iron properly) did the cooking basically role reversal but she got an easier ride. so I know its not as difficult as is made out.

Are you advertising for a husband because you sound too good to be true? If you are .... no I must stop - that way lies trouble
