We've always had more success putting down two traps side by side rather than just one.

Once had one of those humane traps. It worked well, and as I drove "Tony" to a nice wood we had a lovely conversation. Sorry to see him go really.

We had ferrets once. Little tinkers. If the great ferret designer in the sky had any sense they would have made sure that ferrets could distinguish between things to hunt and bare toes.

They are a bit "whiffy" though? How do you stop the fella's special musky smell?

Neutering, according to the ferret people at the last County Show I was at, solves the problem..

Came across this pic of one earlier - it pretty much epitomises me in the mornings: "Must...get...out..of...bed...zzzzz.....&quot ;

You lot are taking this whole YORKSHIRE divers thing a bit far.

It will be flat caps and Whippets next.

Ours were neutered - i think. They were actaully rescued ferrets. Mum and dad had a wildlife rescue service and people kept on bringing in ferrets! One was even brought in by folks who thought he was a baby badger due to the stripe on his head. So he was called Badger. Original, eh? Then again he lived with another ferret called Mr Snooks so I don't think he came off that badly
