Bethi is in hospital
Bethi is known to a few older YDers as she used to post on here a fair bit when she was 12 or 13....

We have spent the past 30 hours in hospital which culminated in her having her appendix out this evening. So please send her lots of love and sympathy and send her mummy some too as I have had about 2 hours sleep in the past 2 days, my baby is poorly, and I wont be going to the mull music festival this weekend. too late to get a sub too as it's ropes off at oban at 2pm tomorrow

On the bright side, at least they found out what the matter was and she should now start to get better.

Anyone medical know how long they keep them in after a full appendix op these days?

Hope she gets well soon Jules. We do the majority of our appedicetomies laparoscopically (ie in a keyhole way) these days which makes life easier but even done the old way, she should be out in a couple of days.

PS, The first good fart is sign that the patient is on the mend.
