She wasn't drinking alcohol when I was there, I was training speshul people...

Don't want to give up smoking totally, respect for anyone who has, don't want to. I'll never be able to become a DIR diver, gutted

60 a day down for 10 years to zero in a week due to going to Venice and getting a very nasty chest bug. Cold-turkied out of it while coughing up blood and resisted when I was over the worst.

That was ohhhhhhhhh, about 3 stone ago.

Drinking? Well, some things are worth dying for.

well done Fi , keep it up. A few years ago we got in the habit of opening and finishing a bottle of wine every night. Then we decided to give it up and not drink on "school nights", ie unday to thursday.

The best thing about it is that you get the health benefit, save some dosh and when you open your bottle of wine on Friday night you actually appreciate it.

Keep it up

Jules

Ahhhhhhh yes the 3 stone syndrome these were the pounds I didnt want to add on to the vast money I have saved since giving up smoking.

I may have a glass of wine if friends come over for dinner but thats all I drink at home. Due to driving I rarely drink when I go out but occasionally, a couple times a year I go on a binge. This type of drinking makes it hard to answer the question "How many units of alcohol do you use a week" as I can go months without a drink.

I am hoping to retain my other 2 vices otherwise life will seem quite boring.
