Genuine question..... Does the current DIR Forum achieve that?

Many of the regular poster will have been able to discern who dives DIR and who does not. So when advice is given, or a debate ensues they can figure who is saying what.

How does that work for newer members, though?

Seriously, the only time it will make the slightest difference to us DIW divers, is as soon as somebody other than GUE starts offering DIR courses. I mean, is that even possible? Is the term DIR trademarked?

Fifthd-x also a range of courses from DIR essentials upwards, they just arn't availebl here in the uk.

I stand corrected.

How does having different agencies both teaching the Doing It Right style of diving work anyway? Is there more than one way of Doing It Right (surely not)? Or is there some sort of Super-agency that decides the One True Way?

In the US, do GUE and 5thD face off and shout "SPLITTERS" at each other. And if not, why not. .
