Why buy and then suffer Marmite when you can buy and eat Beluga Caviar and/or Foie Gras? I can have my man get some from Fortnum & Mason if you'd like?

Because Foie Gras is made by man at his most evil depravity (you do know how they make that stuff?) and Marmite is joyously veggie! Hoorah! And it comes from beer too....how can it not be good??

Oh Gawd! What have I started? "Glib comment results in web-ruck!"

Sorry Lou, didn't mean to enflame the issue - let's not reopen the 'Fox Hunting debate' in front of a festival crowd. But hardly "man at his worst depravity" is it, old stick!? I can think of many more things which might keep me awake nights than the process of rendering FG; alas, none of which countenance cruelty to animals and all involve humans and their glib delivery of misery and conscious-free inhumanity to their neighbour.

"Veggies" - I'll confess, I couldn't eat a whole one and it rather depends how they're cooked

"Beer" - now you're talking!!
