Booked to see it tomorrow, I’ve got six seats in the VIP lounge at Chichester. Free snacks, licensed and waitress service what more could one wish for… May have to see it twice depends on how much I drink.

Read them all (several times) - Pratchett is my favourite author at present. Very observant humour.

He does have his off days. Some of the books are plain hysterical, others decidedly average.
Wee Free Men was a scream, Monstrous Regiment a bit dull.

Are you saying Tom Cruise isn't a hobbit?

Dom
No, he's a Muppet - there's a BIG difference!

Any chap who'd bin his former incumbent for that Spanish mare really needs a bitch-slapping! Added to which, I've only ever seen Cruise actually 'act' [a skill not necessarily a prerequisite in Hollywood for some time now!] in only two movies: 'Interview with a Vampire' and 'Minority Report' - though he was passable in 'Jerry Maguire', yet hoplessly miscast in 'Rain Man'. Both the 'Mission Implausible' films were complete gash to boot.

They'll be making films about alien attacks on the earth next; where the US President can, at the drop of a hat, fly F-16's and save the planet on his Jack - Oh, you say they've already done that heresy (plagarising HG Well's 'War of the Worlds', wholesale, en route) and called it 'Incontinence Day'?? Reducing decent literature to the value of the comic-book! Outrageous!

Any nation which can, when given the choice, opt for 'Forrest-bleedin-Gump' over 'Schindler's List' for Best Film Oscar with a straight face only has itself to blame when the product of its educational output (outside of the Ivy League schools) can't place the US on a map of the US!!

They'll be trying to sell us 'Jean d'Arc' (Joan of Arc) as chick-flick next!!

Their porn's rank-bad as well: 'Bill's Bitch Sure Can Smoke a Stogie' is not what I call biting political satire of Clinton's time in office!

You see what happens when the nation's children are not taught either Latin or Greek in school! Herrumph!!
