Oats, oats, oats... If you can stand the stuff, eat a big bowl of porridge every breakfast. I can't so I compromise with a homemade, oat rich muesli.
Statins took my cholesterol from 7 and a bit to 3 and a bit but when I came off them for a while, my cholesterol level, though too high did not return to its old peak. HTH, Tim

If you want to avoid a high count.... then just don't go for a checkup and you will have no count at all!

This is almost guaranted to work.....
Liam feels like a dick for writing this. His cholesterol test just came back as 5.7 with a low HDL1.8 and high ldl3.4.

Not the highest but still higher than its meant to be, ar5e.

Hmmm, the doctor said they would need to be taken 'for life'. I wouldn't mind doing them to get the level down and then see who my new life style works out.
