| Anything you can no quickly with minimal washing up is always good. In my more athletic days we used to do a lot of week long completely self sufficient stuff and nearly everything was boil in the bag to keep the weight down as we carried everything we needed. I take it you are not intending on roughing too much? Nowadays with wife and dog in toe when camping it tends to be more creature comforts. Cornbeef hash, grilled fish, jkt potatos. We still do some BIG stuff like lamb shanks. Chicken kebabs, pitta bread & rice is always a winner. Curry & rice. GO Outdoors | Camping equipment, Tents, Outdoor Clothing and Footwear. do some really good boil in bags. Camp Recipes - Camping never tasted so good! just found this on google - 642 recipes. If you check out some scout websites they usually have really good ideas. |

We try not to have too much tinned stuff, not because we're particularly healthy eaters, but more because it's nice to cook outdoors and see what you can come up with on a two-burner stove. Chicken kebabs sounds good We've just invested in an electric coolbox which should make life a bit easier as well.
