| pasta with sweet-n-sour sauce rice with sweet-n-sour sauce easy quick and filling but hardly gourmet! can be done in one pot too. for variation and a bit of protein, fry up some sausages beforehand, slice and mix in. co-op do a good range of sauces that have more chunks of stuff in them rather than liquid, which is nice. their sweet-n-sour is excellent... super noodles make good lunches, or very quick meals in extremis...

| Yes, having read these contributions, I think I've tried to be a bit ambitious in the past. One evening, we had scallops on skewers, followed by fresh tuna stir fry. I do like banana, dark chocolate and brandy for pudding

| Crab meat fried in a little lemon juice and some fresh chillies mixed make a great pasta source! Risottos are good as they generally only require one pan. Very simple – cook some pasta add a tin of tuna, some sweet corn and mix in some mayonnaises |

| Corned beef hash, tin of corned beef + tin of baked beans, with some nice fresh baguette, feeds two well, if being really stingy and lazy you can both eat out of the same tin so only one item to rinse (never bother with proper washing up Couple of bananas or bunch of grapes, Job done ![]()
