Personally i don't like gash unless it's used to mean rubbish, or axe wound. I also find the word bint particularly offensive. i have a friend who punches me everytime i say the see you next tuesday word but it's my fave swear word used only in extreme circumstances or when drunk or when playing rude scrabble.

I'm genuinely intrigued as to what the last word is going to be - if i think of a good one i'm going to save it and have the last word when everyone else is bored.

How strange! I find the c-word incredibly offensive and, as a female, quite hard to say out loud! Having said that, I hear it all the time at work (I'm a barristers' clerk) so you think I'd be used to it.

Here is a bit of information.... My sister used to teach native americans in Canada, and I am reliably informed that the term 'squaw' regularly used to refer to a female native american has the same meaning to them, and many of them find it an offensive term too.

Gosh! I rather like it. Like Naomi, it's up there in my most satisfying swear words

It's a great swear word for humour
It's the perfect genuine insult after F***ing
and it's can be well erotic used correctly in the bedroom

Like F*ck the first letter and last letter are strong and can be clearly enuncuiated and a 'u' is just the prefect vowel for those expressions
