Most threads regardless of where in the forum they are posted seem to eventually descend into either a DIR debate or a genital/bodily function discussion.

But most importantly, if someone offends you, you MUST demand an appology

Apologies he bails if i just 'greyed' you. By the end of the day when i've had the last word on another thread i'll be able to green you!

Some people insist that swear words are either spelled incorrectley (loke loblox), or some letters are replased with *, like bo**ox. Only the stupid don't know what the word is supposed to be but allegedly it is less offensive, and doesn't get filtered out by the IT language police.

Use the smilies as gestures when a post could be misread. the toothy grin ( ) is often used when taking the pi**, just as if you were talking to a real person you might laugh if you said the same comment.

And some people are offended by pictures of anatomy. Usually people are only offended by boobs (e.g Scubees Boobies... long story, but search and you might get the jist) but somehow find other areas not objectionalbe.

welcome to yd. Pretty much anything and everything goes on here - have a look under the forums tab (top RHS), choose the appropriate place and post away - it doesn't even have to be diving related!!

The hardest thing to get across in an electronic format is sense / intent. To add for interpertation, TIC = Tongue in Cheeck (not seroious), LOL = Laughing out Loud, etc etc etc. Smileys can also be used for this purpose, and you'll see lots scattered around

Talking about diving is what we do lots of, rather than offend I think you'll be wishing we'd shut-up (TIC)

Any questions, fire away - just treat the answers with a pinch of salt and you'll be fine.

No you haven't quite got this...

you need not appologise to hebails - he knows what a grey is

you need to demand an appology from the admins for loading up greys rather than greens
