I've got the HTC TyTN II (but the vodafone branded flavour which is the V1615)

It's a Windows based mobile which has all the officy type stuff like word / excel and email but being Windows based also allows me to run V-Planner on it!

I've been using a Nokia for years and years now so wasn't sur how hard the transition might be... Piece of piddle. No regrets at all!

Depends what you want... I got a Nokia N73 last autumn and I've got a data bundle from O2 - so (although my friends and colleagues think I'm mad - no comment!) I use the web browser all the time - news, snippets, tide times, YD occasionally, whatever - so it works for me. The camera's usable, and I do ocasionally listen to music etc. So I find it a good bundle, small enough and with adequate battery life. YMMV.

(Just seen Si's reply to. I was torn re PDA phones - but happy with my choice, for now...)

I have one of these too, and it's uttterly utterly brilliant IMHO. I used to have the TyTN 1 and the new version just blows it away.

I have an N95. I phone people, get texts, take the odd photo... that's about it really. I haven't got a clue how to use most of it.

I have one of these too and I am very happy with it - but I have to say that the XDA Orbit 2 - from O2 is a rather sexy little smartphone.. It can also be bought sim free from places like Expansys - under the guise of the HTC Touch Cruise / HTC Polaris (Buy a HTC Touch Cruise (UK, GPS, Taster), #99HDZ006-00 - eXpansys UK )

hth..
