| OK....the 400W one from novatech will be more than up to the job. Look at the lead from the p/s to the motherboard. It should have 24 pins. You won't have to use a compaq p/s but you will need to make sure you get the right type as some have different mounting points and fan positions. The novatech ones are noisy but they work fine and for £15 what do you expect. If you've an old PC knocking around then just swap over with that......just make sure it's a minimum 200W and that the connector is the same. |

| Good Grief, that looks ancient! What spec is the PC? Pentium 2 or later require an ATX Power supply, earlier use an AT Supply which has different motherboard connectors! You can get a generic power supply from PCWorld. Rob |

| The connector is probably going to be the issue, it's probably the older AT (2x6pins) format, newish ones are ATX (20pins) and new ones are ATX-2 (20pins +4). Good luck MyM
