I still want a tattoo but that will be life limiting enough. Just how long do you think she had to wait to do anything, have a bath ??

Made me cringe. I don't see it as comparable with sticking needles with ink in. They actually removed layers of skin leaving the tissue exposed. Wouldn't dare getting it done in an NHS hospital. Think of the infection !

I want a tattoo but I would never have liposuction. I guess we all have our varying limits and priorities

Why not go for it then???? It's healed within a week and it doesn't hurt that much!

And re the reason for the thread? How long would that take to heal? Why would you want to scar yourself like that??? I've got 11" scars down both my knees and if her back ends up with scar tissue like mine I don't think the effect will be quite as good!

I just want to say - I had the misfortune to read this thread on the train home and damn' near threw up on the bloke next to me. Not pretty at all.

(I'm with Vonny - no needles, no tats, thanks. Even the artistic ones, rather than the ones where 6 months later you regret etching in names etc...)

A lot of my friends have tattoos, and i really want one, but dont want to regret it later.
My friend jut got the word 'Liberteen' on his chest. But it looks like ''Christeen''

I have 2 tattoos, both of which I designed myself. I thought long and hard before I decided to do it and have not regretted either of them one little bit in the last 10 or so years.

I would recommend you do the same, think long and hard, be SURE it's right for you. Also, first one - make it somewhere no-one would see unless you show them.

I want another one, and have for 3 years, but still haven't found the design I want, when I do, I'll get it done, until then, the search continues.
