An old mate of mine went and got a freakin huge great big Judge Dredd Tat all over his back.

It was a good, if chunky, bit of work and he loved it.

Till we asked him exactly which one of the characters in 2000AD was Judge Derdd.......

There were a couple of women on the beach today with tattoos. They were of a "certain age" and it really did not look nice.

I must be snobby, on blokes they might be OK but on women - oh dear.

But each to their own. It just looks so crap on ladies on their 40s and 50s and all the young ones now will be that age soon. Imagine being in an old peoples' home with a barbed wire bracelet tattooed on your arm. it will look silly and very naff.

I wouldn't have got mine done out of choice a Mr Jack Daniel's took that choice away from me but now they remind me of some great times so i think it's a matter of you own perception of them
