What an UNPRECEDENTED disaster
....or at least that's what I'd better tell SWMBO....the truth however is..........




Minime insisted on roast chicken for tea......in a moment of weakness I went for the easy answer....."ok but tea will be late" ...."OK" says he.

So.....rub a little olive oil on chicken and untruss it.

sprinkle a little salt on the skin

Bung roasting dish with trivet in it in the oven.

Gas mark 5 on preheat for 15 minutes.

Bung medium chicken in roasting dish for 30 minutes....turn chicken on its' back for 30 minutes....turn chicken over again and a lite spray of oil and salt then in oven for another 30 minutes. Leave to rest for 10 minutes.

I have chicken that melts off the bone and is cooked through properly....no manky dry bits here.......HA HA HA Man at home 1 SWMBO 0.

just had to make my own tea. Raided the freezer and found some spag bog sauce, so had it on toast cos pasta is too complicated!

bread went a bit soggy after a while....
Best student food ever=Cheapo white bread with dark chocolate and that bright orange cheese. No butter. Good times
