Help! (Again)
My last appeal was a success - thanks.

Now I need a recommendation for a cheap but clean, quiet and en-suite hotel in Amsterdam.

Near the Damrak / Central Station area if poss. The trouble is that I need it for the 11-14th September and it's hotel mayhem there at that time of year.

I stayed a couple of years ago at a wee B&B called cake under my pillow, it was only a five minute tram ride from central station and in a nicer area.

It was very camp but good fun.

oh and a well planned trip to Amsterdam is not complete without dinner at the supperclub!

Book as far in advance as you can!

I've been three times over the last eight years and enjoyed it immensely each time.

Boatel was OK for us. Next to the station, but not noisy.

Try this hotel.... I've stayed here before and though it's just on the edge of where you want to be, it's right by where a lot of IBC folk meet up. Good value and facilities.Hotel Rembrandt
