I'm forever blowing bubbles. Pretty bubbles in my blood.

I just wondered whether injecting petrol or diesel or ????????? into my blood before my eventual return to diving would be beneficial in protecting me from DCI. Or should it be washing up liquid? Anyway, something that destroys surface tension and stops bubbles being able to form? Perhaps that vague memory was to do with waterboatmen and making then sink ..... or was it a little boat that was propelled forward ......?

Oh well, remembering vagueness again and typing lobbocks?

Perhaps an injection of some sharp pointy stuff that would pop the bubbles might be a good idea? Iron filings? Wow, not only a DCI inhibitor but also an inbuilt compass?

Genius?

Ethanol lowers surface tension instantly, just drink more :-)

Bubbles in circulating blood : stabilization and simulations of cyclic changes of size and content

Perhaps high blood pressure can help reduce the effects of DCI?

In the interests of science I reckon that you ought to try it

Maybe start with petrol then move onto diesel (it's more expensive).

I'm an 'ex diver' at the moment so volunteers will be required.

Veg oil? Isn't the first 2500 litres free of duty?
