No, but I once had to catch, roast and eat a load (about 10) really big fat grasshoppers - I think they were some sort of locust, which wewren't too bad, provided you removed the big stiff scratchy legs first and surprisingly filling too, they were huge. I've tried green tree ants too, they aren't bad at all. Don't ask me to describe the taste though, as I'd have to say that they tasted like ants.

It was all 100, no 1000 times better than the whole wallaby cooked in the skin on a hot fire with it's own boil in a bag guts that we had a day later. Kirsties vego mate would definitely not have liked that too much. And there was no HP Sauce either.
