| Grievance will do it. As will opting in to the 48 hour working week. I got to the point with previous employer where this was the only threat we had left, and many were close to calling it in. When I finished work with the unreasonable bastards I think I had 40 days of leave to go. Ridiculous as I left at the end of February. They also threatened to take off me leave which could not be carried over to the next year, even though we were not allowed to take it. At this point I wrote an e-mail which should have signalled to the company that we had a major problem. Their response was as ever shite, and I left. Just leave the company. Some companies will not learn until they have been well and truly dropped in the shit that they can't treat people this way. Having come out of that and joined a company that thinks differently the way I work (less than 40 hours a week) is considered to be a good performance because I am judged on what can be acheived in the time I have at work, not if I worked every hour god sends. And now I am still at work finishing off a couple of things because I choose to, because it is a choice. Just leave them. Easy solution to your problem. And they'll still be paying you several weeks after you leave thanks to their lack of reasonable behaviour. Digs. |
