spoke to him last night on the jellybone, he is in finefettle and his pc has gone to hospital to be fixed. Normal service will be resumed when his pc isbetter meanwhile he can only dip in from time to time.

edit - just looked at my computer and it has 48 bits of RAM, I take it this isn't good, and 3.73Gb memory? does this mean i am in imminent danger of PC death too?

48 bits?  That's roughly 0.0015 of a Mb so the fact that you're able to even turn the thing on is something of an achievement

Seriously, you're not necessarily in imminent danger of PC death though it's probably safe to say it's a bit of a bag 'o shite.
If and when it does finally flake out, don't go into a shop asking to upgrade it though...They'll roll their eyes, mutter under their breaths and throw you out.

Go here for cheap replacements
