i think this was done before about 6 months or so ago (Think it was Australian then as well). I wonder if these people do ever pay up?

He didn't seem to be that sad when they spoke to him on BBC Breakfast the other day

He said he wanted to travel and this was a way of selling up and doing something else. Good luck to him.

According to the local news, the winning bid was just under $500,000. For a house, car, motorbike and jetski plus everything else thats a pretty good price. Once he's paid off his mortgage though, there is not a lot left. Enough for a once in a lifetime RTW trip ?
