Saw that earlier and realised someone on here worked for W&amp;P dept.
Probably only going to get rid of the old sods anyway, its Political and I suspect you'll end up with even more people but hidden under some other dept.

Then again most funding seems to reach the local council and not the frontline. The bureacracy is absolutely amazing for claiming all the potential funding that is available

Also, nice to see that the over 70's are going to get £100 to help and pay for their increased council tax! Doesn't mention if this is means tested or not...

I'm very pleased for the pensioners who I have interviewed who have come cap in hand to me when they have 30k+ in savings if it isn't means tested....

But then the govt has to look after this generation don't they...they are worth alot of votes....

Right that's it I will stop now before I get really wound up!!!!

Well, of course - the government is busy spending all the money people are paying into their pensions, so there's no need for people to work on handing the pension money back to the pensioners
