The internet? Marvellous.

Once again I give thanks for the internet as a source of information, amusement and free porn.

I've been playing Internet Spades for over a year and had always wondered what the "10 bag penalty" was for and, more importantly, when it was imposed. One quick Google later and:-

Sandbagging rule: Overtricks are colloquially known as bags. A side which (over several deals) accumulates ten or more bags has 100 points deducted from its score. Any bags beyond ten are carried over to the next cycle of ten overtricks - that is if they reached twenty overtricks they would lose another 100 points and so on. (Note: it is not necessary to keep track of overtricks separately as the cumulative number of overtricks taken appears as the final digit of the team's score, if positive).

Also, of course, I still have a few people to talk to on YD so I have a list of e-friends.

What is it about the internet that pleases you most?

Apart from YD the best thing on T'interweb is play.com

The ability to hear a review of a book or a dvd on Radio 4 and order it within 20 seconds (which these days is the longest I can retain something in memory) then promptly forget it and then be pleasantly surprised when it arrives.
This happened twice recently
once with the DVD Juno (Brilliant movie!) and then with a book called Budddada by Anne Donovan. It's just like christmas!
