Cheers for almost all of the suggestions, i'm having a ponder at the moment but have to be careful as she was looking over my shoulder last night while I was reading the suggestions so far.

She's now expecting to be taken to a Spa by a man dressed as a clown who will present her with a diamond!!!!!!!!

I'm a simple woman, me. So I'll tell you what I'd like if I were married.

To spend the day with my husband. Nothing more, nothing less. You've organised all the fun stuff, the party etc. On her actual birthday just take the day off and do everything for her. Make breakfast, run the bath for her, take the kids to school (if you've got 'em that is). Take her out for a walk, drive, lunch somewhere. Just spend time together and make her feel special. That's all most women want - NOT the credit card or financial stuff. A little bit of time and effort and love. And your undivided attention for the day. No diving, no mates on the phone, no work. Just the two of you remembering what it is you got together for in the first place. Sometimes the stuff that doesn't cost money is worth so much more and means so much more than anything you can buy on plastic. Yeah, I'm a romantic, and a cheap date, so what!!!!

Now that's enough of me being a pathetic romantic! Don't tell anyone I said all of this stuff, ok??
