| Imported post Apart from the fact 18 million has 6 noughts not 9 this is, as you say, a very sick individual. I suppose it just shows what some people will sink to for the sake of money. How sad. Matt |

| Imported post <font color='#000080'>I e-mailed him. He seemed genuine. Not. They must realise that there is no market for this sort of thing, surely? People can't be responding to these e-mails ever can they? We've all seen them before, and even the most clueless individuals must be able to see right through this one. And I always find the Nigerians have a more worthy cause. Money from sale of business etc. is never a great option, I prefer the "I have to get rid of my money or the taxman gets it" ones. |

| Imported post It only takes a couple of suckers per year to make it worth the while for these spammers/con-men (Fiona told a story recently about a woman who borrowed £250,000 to "participate" in this scam) and like the man said "There's one born every minute..." |

| Imported post <font color='#0000FF'>They actually do make money on this... but only with the proper organization. There's a website somewhere (most likely on the web) that tells the story of "counter-scammers" and the unfortunate scammed ones. I know a specific case here in Norway where a mayor (!) lost about £150.000. This was done by Nigerians with the aid of a Norwegian who was actually tried and convicted for the deed. Money was gone though. But hey, this guy is dying. Surely if he's in a hurry it should be easy money! K
