Hurrah for camping!
Turbs and I are away camping and diving in Cornwall next week, and will miss you all terribly. The weather forecast is iffy - rain on Monday, fine on Tues and that's about it as it only goes up to 5 days.

We're staying here as they have a compressor on site:

Welcome to Trevair Touring Park, Penzance, Cornwall

I have a stack of paperbacks and Turbs has his Day Skipper course books to be going on with if (when) it piddles down. Plus, we've bought an inflatable camping sofa so we'll have something comfy to sit on (and for Paul to sleep on if we have an argument due to stir-craziness). We also have an inordinate amount of booze and pickled onions to keep us fortified.

Hopefully Wednesday afternoon will be fine as we've got tickets to see a play here:

The Minack Theatre - 2008

We've got a list of nice shore dives to do, like Lamorna Cove, Porthgwarra, Prussia Cove and the SS Beaumaris at Sennen, so lots of camera practice for me and creature-spotting practice for Turbs.

If there are any good rucks on YD while we're away, could someone please pm me the links. Thank you and goodnight

enjoy, its a nice quiet campsite and miles form anywhere so take everything with you that your likely to need (including change for the showers)

make sure you put all the ropes in securely, its going to be windy!

LOL, we've got a huge tent with loads of ropes, so we should be ok, and I've got a big back of 10p pieces

Is there a village pub within walking distance?

yes theres a couple about 2 miles, they have the details on the campsite

the campsite also has a washing machine/dryer (just in case!)
