Comfort Food!!

OK, so it scrap weather and I've taken my tanks to an LDS to be O2 cleaned and filled ready for next week. Taken the mutts for a walk, gotten soaked and come home. Lit the stove and put the heating on and then settled down to watch a bit of telly with a big mug of coffee and the crust off a freshly baked loaf, smothered in crunchy peanut butter.

Now that's what I'm talking about on a day like today, sod the calories.

So, what's your ideal comfort food.

Cook some penne (pasta tubes)
Fry some bacon bits
Heat some baked beans
Grate some cheddar.

Put pasta in a bowl.
Mix in the bacon.
Pour on the beans.
Sprinkle on the cheese.
Sprinkle on Worcester sauce.
Eat!

Exactly, how uncomplicated could this be:-

1, cut thick slice of bread
2. smother with crunchy peanut butter
3. scoff the lot

Now that's 3 Steps to Heaven!

Probably though, in more ways than one!!!!!!

One of my favourites is toasted fresh bread with butter and Marmite, washed down with a large glass of ice cold milk.
