3 days to go in this hellhole and i have the agony of sitting in on the interviews for my replacement....not only that but my boss wants to take me out to lunch on Friday to the all-you-can-eat-for-a-fiver chinese down the road - where he will make 4 or 5 return trips with his plate piled high, the thought of it is making me ill already!!

But its not all bad - i'm hanging on by a thread till the weekend when I can let loose down in Portland - yay!

just thought i'd share my misery with you all.....thank you.

Apart from the lack of work for most people the internet service is clogged up as everyone seraches for new roles or plays games. This impacts on my YD postings.

So the big question is how can I prevent interenet access to other users? this has to be a non technical solution e.g. blackmail, threats of non-specific sort

Better still we just had a power cut. It has stopped all the dialling equipment and stopped internet access on the call floor.
By complete coincidence I have the keys to the relevent electric cupboard and internet speed is currently great. More power cuts are on their way..........
