Olympics.
I just wondered if anybody else was looking forward to the Olympic Games?

1. Because it is in China then I assume this means it will be on TV through the night which means I'll have something to watch through my insomnia.

2. There are bits with lots of hot, lubricated, sweaty and scantily clad lady athletes. (I recomend avoiding any who have been in the sand pit and the pole vaulters may have too firm a grip?)

3. It must be a great place to pick up some drugs?

Despite the drugs controversies (although it is a shame the Olympic ideals are not followed by everyone) I really enjoy watching the Olympics.

I'm not a big fan of the Chinese Government but yes, I love watching the Olympics. It's a little disappointing that some of the sports that we're actually good at in the UK get such poor coverage eg shooting and sailing.

Avoiding sand? Do you mean you're not an avid fan of the beach volleyball?

No, I'm a GREAT fan of ladies beach volley ball but I can't get over my fear of sand on delicate bits.

i love watching the olympics

i really admire the people that have worked so hard to acheive such a level of fitness and do so well in their sport

i wish i was good at something

I'm not really a fan of watching sport but "one off" events like Wimbledon and the Olympics are great for a change on TV - anything is better than football.

TBH generally I find the winter Olympics more interesting to watch on TV than the summer and as you say having it in a country where it will be televised live at a "sensible" time over here it a bonus.
