Did the quiz twice - once applying the principles to the UK, and once as though I was an American.  Very different scores on the two - which just shows the difference in social and economic conditions (and the political scene) in the two countries.... (for those who haven't read it yet I didn't do this entirely because I am a geek - the quiz is aimed at Americans! Quite interesting if you can be bothered....!)

If I am American I am a full blown liberal.
If I'm a Brit I move further to the right.  

No great shock there really! (Last pay slip of the year saw me looking at it, shaking and gasping 'how much tax have I paid this year?!?!?'  Got quite upset at the time, and had to find solace in strong liquor!)

not entirely sure what that actually means as I have zero understanding of politics and if I'm really honest what on earth does the left vs right thing mean (I'm not trolling honestly just thick  )

Mary, my 'Brit' numbers were closer to yours....sorry, can't remember exactly what they were &amp; can't be bothered to do it again.  So if you are a freak there are two of us!
