We are members of YD first and foremost, and of course we should have an opinion but this is out of order, especially as it concerns a new member finding their feet on the boards.

How can we ask members to be respectful to others that they may not agree with, if we are seen to be disrespectful ourselves?

I find I am agreeing with Steve, prehaps someone could delete the thread. Looking at Jamie's threads he has only started one poll so this is little harsh.

At least Jamie is posting about diving, some people start nothing but non diving threads.

There's a big divide between bullying and having a little fun, IMO.

YD lives occupies that space and is a lot of fun because of it.

I would be very surprised if JamieG was offended but if he is then I would apologise profusely for misjudging his humour and remove the thread immediately. It was intended as late night fun with the Dude.

That said, I don't understand where the indignation on behalf of others whose relationships are unknown, comes from.

Next time Steve S calls you Jimmy Krankie should I expect a host of complaints?
