So, as diving seems a near impossible thing to do at the moment as the god of wind has vented his fury at these fair isles I have found myself releasing frustrating by beating people up on line... Anyone on here wanna fight

PS3 is swinging at the mo as I have a PSP and PS2.

Happy to move this to a new thread, but wonder how the 2 compare when it's the same game.

Do any of the online games let PS3 owners paly Xbox (or PC) owners?

PS3 would get my vote for you because

1) You'll still be able to use your ps2 games
2) The remote play with the psp is very cool (as long as you have handy wifi hotspots)
3) Its a cracking Blu-ray player

You cant play cross platform online at the moment (or probably ever).

Point 1 is not correct, on the new version 40Gb you cant play old games although loads are available to dowload via the ps3 internet store for about 3.50

PS3 gives you a blu ray player the xbox dvd player is now obsolete much the same as the vhs Vs betamax war, the ps3 won so no point in getting an xbox now... the xbox led the field because of the range of games available, this gap is now closed so again PS3 takes the lead.

I looked into all this before I made my choice of the PS3, spent many internet hours deciding where to put my cash, bought the PS3 and have not regretted the dicision in the slightest... No overheating probs ala xbox...superb graphics, great online play and it looks super cool

And don't forget, there is no addition charge to play on-line, unlike the X-box live.
A friend with a 360 is spending a fortune on X-box live as you pay per person. He has five accounts, one for himself, and one for each of his kids.

Erm Ive got both and the PS3 wins hands down for me, the graphics I think are better (but that might also be due to having a full hd tv now), the blu ray player is brilliant and its free to play online.

Im going to sell my 360 when I get back home.
