What a brilliant Olympics we're having! I must admit that before the opening ceremony I was struggling to generate any enthusiasm, what with the sombering thoughts about the protests and the prospect of another "If only" lacklustre performance from Team GB.

But now I'm hooked and eagerly awaiting our next success

Isn't it interesting though, as I read this morning, that most of our medals have come from sports that you can do sitting down!

Makes me proud to be an armchair sports fan - pass the pizza!

now all we need to do is find another sitting down sport to add to the 2012 games, we will clean up at it, so anyone got any ideas?

OK can someone tell me why the ladies only wear the smallest of beach wear and the men are wearing long surfer shorts and tops surely a little bare torso wouldn't be too much to ask for

On the radio this morning they were saying that Beach Vollyball is now the 2nd most popular sport in the world after football
